In this quiet Day we will spend some time thinking about trust. Who do you trust and who don’t you trust? Do you trust yourself? Some consider trust requires the suspension of critical thinking; instead we will consider the role of trust in enabling a critical, prophetic posture in the world. Trusting helps us negotiate the risks involved in seeking our own healing, in relationships with other people, with the planet and with God. During Lent we can begin to foster trustful relationships without giving up our God-given ability to think critically and creatively.
The suggested donation for the quiet day is £15 which includes a simple lunch of home-made soup and bread and tea & coffee. We ask people to Gift Aid their donation wherever possible.
During your time here you are welcome to share in the regular Services in the Community Chapel – although there is no requirement for you to do so.
