Stone Carving – Tuesday 16th to Saturday 20th July

A chance to tackle the traditional craft of stone carving with professional stone-masons Robyn Golden Hann and Maya Martin. This course is suitable for beginners.  You will produce a finished piece and all tools and materials will be provided for this.  There will also be a few extra pieces of stone on sale for participants to complete more than one project.

The  suggested  donation for  the course is £260 which includes the week, meals and accommodation, and all tuition and materials. We are willing to accept less if this figure is not possible for you. Please contact Suzi who will be happy to help you with your booking in confidence.  We ask people to Gift Aid their donation wherever possible.

During this week you will be staying in Bernard, Leo or Juniper House, named after the early Companions of St Francis.  Your accommodation is quiet and comfortable, warm and well-appointed.

Your meals will be taken either in Juniper House or the Refectory and participants are invited to help with both the preparation and washing up.  It is sometimes possible to join the Community for Sunday lunch should numbers permit.

During the week you are welcome to share in the regular Services in the Community Chapel – although there is no requirement for you to do so.
