Panel Discussion at 2pm: featuring Nathan Beall, Lynn Fry and Clark Berge – ‘Honouring the Wounds in Ourselves and Others’
Join Hilfield Community members Nathan Beall, Lynn Fry and Clark Berge as they explore the implications of the Stigmata of Francis for our understanding of, and analysis of, the woundedness of Church and Society.
- Nathan will speak about the Wounded Church.
- Lynn will speak about Society, particularly the impact on a generation of evacuation of children from London during World War II.
- Clark will speak about the Wound of Addiction.
How do we honour these wounds? How can they help us in our Christian walk? Following each brief presentation the panel will discuss it and invite audience participation. It’s a Hilfield version of ‘The Moral Maze’!
Perhaps a chance, during the afternoon, to meet members of the Hilfield Friary Community, have a tour around the Friary and visit the Friary shop.
Afternoon tea 4pm, followed by Evening Prayer.
