The first Craft Week of the year, joining together in good company to laugh and make.
This is a chance to finish those pesky projects which you never seem to have time to get round to, while still having time to enjoy the beauty and peace of Hilfield Friary, and maybe have a go at a new craft.
The suggested donation for the course is £200 which includes the event, meals and accommodation. We are willing to accept less if this figure is not possible for you. Please contact Suzi who will be happy to help you with your booking in confidence. We ask people to Gift Aid their donation wherever possible. If you would like to stay on the Tuesday and Wednesday nights preceding the event a further donation of £40 per night is suggested.
During this week you will be staying in Bernard, Leo or Juniper House, named after the early Companions of St Francis. Your accommodation is quiet and comfortable, warm and well-appointed.
Your meals will be taken either in Juniper House or the Refectory and participants are invited to help with both the preparation and washing up. It is sometimes possible to join the Community for Sunday lunch should numbers permit.
During the week you are welcome to share in the regular Services in the Community Chapel – although there is no requirement for you to do so.
