Climate justice reflection day – Saturday 4th December

The Climate Justice Reflection Day is facilitated by Jonathan Herbert.

The UK will host the 26th UN Climate Change Conference of the Parties (COP26) in Glasgow on 1 – 12 November 2021.  The COP26 summit will bring parties together to accelerate action towards the goals of the Paris Agreement and the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change.  Members of the Hilfield Community will be in Glasgow part of the time to observe the conference.  This day will be their “report back” and reflection on this Conference.  The day will feature a panel discussion at 3pm with invited guests, Eucharist, and lunch.  Our Member of Parliament Chris Loder has agreed to participate in the panel discussion.  There will be an opportunity for each participant to plant a tree as part of Hilfield’s conservation work. Suggested donation £25 for the day to include lunch.

Please contact Suzi the Guest Co-ordinator if you would like to come and stay for the weekend.
