Please use the below form to send us your booking details as requested by the Hilfield guest co-ordinator, if you have not already made a booking please call us on 01300 341 741 and we will check availability for you first.

Arrival time is from 3pm onwards. Please vacate your room by 9:30am on your day of departure.
If arriving by train, we would prefer to meet you at Sherborne station at approximately 3:30pm. For those coming to Yetminster or Chetnole Station please discuss with the guest coordinator before booking your train. We routinely take guests back to Sherborne station for the 2:30pm or 3:30pm trains. We ask for a £6 donation per trip to cover our costs.

Hilfield Cancellation Policy for Group Bookings - A deposit of £100 per house is asked at the time of booking, after which time the booking will be confirmed. A full refund of the Deposit will only be made for cancellations made within 7 days of confirmation of the booking. If a cancellation is made up to 8 weeks before the date of the arrival then it MAY be possible to transfer the deposit to another booking – please contact the Guest Co-ordinator. If a group want sole use of the house then they are expected to donate for that house i.e. we cannot have 1 or 2 people in a house with the rest of the rooms empty. The Guest Co-ordinator will explain this if required. Please Note - There will be NO refund of deposits for cancellations of bookings within 8 weeks of the date of arrival. Hilfield Friary’s income is mostly from Guest Donations and therefore unfortunately we need to implement a deposit system to enable us to keep the recommended donation low enough as to be accessible to all who wish to come whilst keeping the Friary running.

We seek to share God’s generosity. We make no charge for your stay at the Friary, but we are entirely dependent on voluntary contributions to maintain the life and work of the Friary and are grateful for what you are able to give. We suggest a donation of around £40 per person per night for full board, or £25 per person per night self catering. If you are in a position to Gift Aid your donation to the Friary we can claim the income tax you’ve paid in addition to your donation; this extra income for us also supports any who are unable to give the suggested amount. A £100 Non-Refundable Deposit will be needed to confirm for group bookings only on Booking of each house. Of course, if you are able to give all or part of your donation in advance of your stay we are very glad to receive it! Please make cheques payable to ‘Society of St Francis’.
